Pictures From The Show

Hi all, just a quick update. I did not get pictures of Brego with his blue ribbon. Shame on me! I was busy coaching another when the placings were announced and by the time I got his ribbon, Brego was chillaxing at the trailer with his hay and water, quite nonplussed with the whole affair.

However! The show photographer got some great shots of our dressage test. I purchased three of them and I can't wait to frame them for my wall. Feel free to check them out. We were pair #4.

There's also one picture of us at the end of our album which was taken after our cross country ride. It's pretty clear from the picture which one of us was traumatized and it wasn't Brego. :)

Thanks for the positive comments, everyone! I thought the show photographer did a wonderful job and of course, pictures can be very flattering. I am happy with how we look, we just need to work on consistency. But I think we're in good shape for our level of training.

Stacey, please feel free to cross post to PHN. I love those guys, but I can't post there because I only have a gmail email address and I can't register. I have some big fans over there, including the wonderful lady with Peanut. She always gives me good advice.

Which shots did you end up purchasing. I LOOOOOOOOOOVE photo 6, where you're coming around the corner and Brego is round and soft and your bend is PERFECT. I also like 21 where you're petting him at the end of the test. And 23. :-) You have to get 23. It's too kyoooooot!

Glad to see he's going well for you! What a great breed to see in eventing. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one eventing on a "different" breed...although mine is a National Show Horse, hmmm. Her blog is at www.eventingnsh.blogspot.com if you're interested in seeing a NSH go eventing:)

You and Brego look great together, keep us updated on his progress!
