Blanket Closeout

I never do this on the blog, but....

There is a HUGE draft-sized blanket sale going on.  I got Weatherbeeta Taka Light, Medium, and Heavy blankets (87") for $125 combined.  ONE of those blankets retails for $225.

So winter is coming, if you need cheap blankets for your big horses, go here.

I have the Taka for the TB and I love it.  I also still really like Schneider's Big Fella line, but at these prices, I picked up extra blankets for Brego.

Happy shopping!

I have been reading your blog for about a month now and really enjoy it. I am living vicariously through you. I am from Vermont, currently not living there (sadly) and enjoy hearing about your new property, complete with beautiful fall foliage pictures. Can't wait to read your next adventure with Brego!

Woo-hoo - lots of good stuff there for smaller horses, too! Thanks for the clue-in!

Love good blanket sales :)

I really do like the Schneider's blankets. They're just of really nice quality and seem to hold up super well.

Having 72" and 80" horses at a blanket sale is like having size 8 feet at a shoe sale. Disappointing. Congrats to you, though! And I must say that I am loving my Euro rain sheets from Schneiders.

Sylvia,
Thanks for your wonderful post and Welcome! I would LOVE to live in Vermont, and I actually tried for several years, but I was unable to get a job there. One of my favorite horsey families, Fair Wind Farms, is in Brattleboro.

dp,
I hear ya. This was the first time I have gotten lucky on a blanket sale, but I paid for all the other misses with my savings. I am so excited!

Thanks for the heads-up... I tend to ignore my horseloverz updates because THEY NEVER FIT CHI!

Chi is the proud owner of two new turn outs. MW and HW...

Thanks again!

Hi,
I am so excited to see that there are so many other people out there that love riding their percherons! When I stumbled upon your blog I was very encouraged to see someone successfully eventing a percheron. I have 7 percherons that I ride, drive and love to death! Keep up the good work! I know from experience that keeping a percheron in a packaged canter is difficult sometimes!
